About the role

As part of the Optical Department, you will be trusted with independent working whilst being part of a supportive and efficient team.
You must have high attention to detail, be keen to learn and continue to develop your optical knowledge.
Through hard work and dedication, you will have many training and development opportunities open to you through this role.

 

Responsibilities   

  • Verify prescription orders at specific times throughout shift.
  • Ensure compliance is met for all countries using checklists.
  • Follow up with customer’s to obtain further prescription information or fix order issues.
  • Respond to optical questions and concerns from company employees and customers, on your own account and on behalf of the Opticians.
  • Report directly to the department manager and seniors for additional tasks.
  • Must present reliably to each shift and assist in covering unexpected leave where possible.

 

Candidate requirements    

  • Previous Optical knowledge is desirable, but not required.
  • Previous customer service knowledge is desirable, but not required.
  • Basic understanding of spreadsheets desired, but not required.
  • Must be reliable and flexible for shifts.
  • Must be keen to learn and continually develop skills.
